Meet Amalia

Hello Hello! I’m Amalia!

I am the Communication Manager at The Local Element and have the honor and pleasure of posting and getting content for social media, writing blogs, sending out newsletters, and managing connections and communication across the various TLE branches. I am SO grateful for the team I get to work alongside and love what I do!

I was born and raised in Hudsonville MI, which is a small town with a big community feel. Growing up I was taught to love West Michigan and everything that comes with it. From feeding the fish at the Fish Ladder in GR to watching the Musical Fountain in Grand Haven to shopping in Downtown Holland, it’s safe to say that West Michigan is THE BEST place to live, and I will always stand by that!

I graduated from Calvin University with a Bachelor degree in Strategic Communication. My passion is social media and business writing, and I am blessed to use those passions daily.

West Michigan living is simply the best. Spending time at local coffee shops, on beach hikes, and date nights with my husband are just a few of the things I enjoy after work!

I love to explore new small towns and act like I am a tourist in my own town. That is one of the many, many reasons why I would ALWAYS advocate for living in Michigan!
