Social Media Lead Generation For Real Estate Agents

have you been struggling with getting your social media content to produce leads for your business?
Have you been struggling to even get started?

We hope that this post can encourage you to really tackle this part of your real estate business, and that you produce leads while doing it!

Local and Listing reels

There are two parts to this and they MUST go hand in hand!

  • Local reels – this is what we’re all about at The Local Element and it is a proven method by many real estate agents to get more people seeing your content and recognizing your expertise in the local communities they will be moving into.
    • Examples of this include local lists of the top restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, parks, etc., in the area and your experience LIVING locally in the areas you are serving! From “A day in my life in __” to “pov: you live in __” to “Come with me to (local spot),” there are so many opportunities to show off your community!

  • Listing reels – get out to local listings in your area that are currently on the market (and Instagrammable to some extent) and make sure you’re covering your bases – look for homes that are great for first time homebuyers to showcase, homes that look like they come straight out of Magnolia Farms Magazine, and condos that are great for downsizing!

Engagement

This shouldn’t take up much of your time at all!

Make sure you are engaging with other real estate accounts for 5-10 minutes daily. Whether it’s commenting on others posts, answering polls, responding to your post comments and DM’s, or finding new accounts to follow, it all can help your visibility and algorithm.

Authenticity

Share your day to day as an agent!

Give your followers a behind the scenes look at your life. Stories are especially great for this and it is a great way to share the ins and outs of who you are and your perspective on things!

Data checkups

Make your content data-driven!

Make sure you are staying up to date with your social media insights and data that they offer. It is a great tool for deciphering what content is performing well and what content you maybe need to switch up your strategy with.

Strategic Lead Capture

Offer value to your audience.

This is where you decide what would be valuable to future clients. Offer freebies that will showcase your expertise and promote free checklists and/or guides with call to actions (CTA’s). Once the lead has shared their contact info with them, nurture them with newsletters filled with value!
